Well, I just made this blog about an hour ago. I have decided I will make a post a day, or try at least.
However, tonight, I'm making two.
Partly because I can't sleep, and also because I have so many things that I want to share. This one though, this one really stands out. Not so much the performance, although it's great, but mostly the song. I've become such a song person over the last few years. It's like these little slices of life. I just really want the good ones to make my pie.
And, although making a blog post about Fleet Foxes is about as original as playing 'A Mili' on modern radio was all of last year, I still feel this deep personal connection to their music. It really is beautiful.
Also... attached to a performance at the Bowery Ballroom in New York they did an interview with last.fm.
The only reason I put this up is because 4:46 one of the guys says "there is no music theory".
It made me smile. And cringe. And then smile about cringing. Mostly just rambling.
