Not much to say. I'm sleepy. I've been playing lots of live music and it has been awesome. Jungle Beat played it's first show with me and it went good. I love those guys.
Wanli is playing it's first gig with the new line up and brand new set (some old songs have been re worked) on April 9th with Field Day and The Gagged.
I'm stoked on this gig because it's like a reunion show for some really good old friends that all have new bands that kick ass.
Me and my band mates have been bookin this Wanli tour for the past couple of months. We have 90% of the shows booked for a two week long tour this summer. I could not be more excited about this. 14 days, 12 cities. New show every night.
While booking this tour we've listened to more young bands than ever before in my life. I think that there are LOTS of music being made that is great. It's definitly in the fringe, but it's there.
This is my favorite that I found after listening to every damn myspace page I could bear.

I'm a geek
okay, here are some geeky things that come to mind listening to this:
1) this video is obviously a throw back to a particular hip hop video of the 90s (Pharcyde?....)
2) That bass line is bad ass.
3) That bass has spirocore weiche gauge strings on it... i almost guarantee
4) The comments on the youtube page talk a lot about breakdancing...the fact that there are bboy auditions is cool
"yeah yeah...
this shit is too slow and you know it (if your a bboy) I ahve to do an audition to this song today and im not looking forward to it. Dope song and video tho."
5) that first break at :22 in is what I really miss in a lot of hip hop. This is a very dynamic song for hip hop.

Have you ever seen a drumer ignite?
I don't have much to say about this.
I think it's my favorite music I've ever heard.

Everybody pulled their socks up, Everybody put ther foot down
I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a week almost. I have been very fortunate to be too busy to blog because I've been playing so much music.
I just joined this band called Jungle Beat. I really love it.
Anyways,
I really wasn't very cool when I was growing up. Or normal...
I didn't listen to the Beatles. My parents didn't listen to the Beatles really.
I'm twenty one and I just started to really listen to the Beatles like two years ago.
I was lucky enough to be introduced to the Beatles at a two week long party where we watched the Beatles Anthology
I became familiar with this famous "rooftop concert" at about the time.
I've been listening to Let It Be "Naked" since I made my last post.
It kicks ass

Please put on some headphones!
It's important that you put on some headphones, shut off the lights and listen to this
I can see right through them like an empty 40 bottle
Producer Jay Dilla said in an interview I recently saw that people "slept" on pharcyde in the 90s.
I'm here to change that.
